Do you ever just feel blah? Like you’re not sick, you’re not sleepy, but you just don’t feel right. Like your day or your life has turned to gray scale. Your not depressed, but you’re not excited about life anymore. It’s just one of those days or weeks.

I think it is safe to say that everyone gets to feeling like this at some point. Sometimes it just lasts a day, other times longer. If we don’t take some kind of action, it can lead to discouragement, depression. It can also start affecting our relationships, our jobs and our relationship with God.

No matter how you feel, God hasn’t moved away from you and hasn’t given up on you. Don’t think like this. If you do you are giving the enemy a foothold. You need to pray, seek God and even do some praising. That always gives me a fresh boost.

Once again we need to go to His word. To see what we can find to lift us up, encourage us. Light a spark in us once again. To defeat the enemy. Again. So here we go.

God will sing over you!

The lord you God in your midst,

the Mighty One will save;

He will rejoice over you with gladness,

He will quiet you with His love,

He will rejoice over you with singing.

Zephaniah 3:17

Jesus prayed specifically for you.

I do not pray for these alone,

but also for those who will believe in me

through their words;

that they may all be one

as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You;

that they also may be one in Us,

that the world may believe that You sent Me.

God has your name inscribed (tattooed) on His hand.

The Lord is a light to us.

when I sit in darkness,

the Lord will be a light for me.

Micah 7:7-8

Even in your sleep, He will help you.

When you lie down,

you will not be afraid;

and your sleep will be sweet.

Proverbs 3:24

Times for laughing and praising will return.

He will yet fill your mouth with laughing

and your lips with rejoicing.

Job 8:21

There is no place physically, mentally or spiritually that we could go and God would not be there with us.

Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?

If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
Even there Your hand shall lead me,
And Your right hand shall hold me.

Psalm 139:7-10

Don’t give up!

And let us not grow weary

while doing good,

for in due season we shall reap,

if we do not lose heart.

Galatians 6:9
